Risk and Compliance provide risk and compliance services across all BNY Mellon businesses. Organizationally, Risk and Compliance includes the following groups: Risk Management, Compliance, Global Corporate Security, Information Risk Management and Global Business Continuity. Risk Management oversees and delivers risk services and ensures new business risks are reviewed and approved. Risk Management is organized through Chief Risk Offices for each core business and critical operation. Risk managers provide shared support to BNY Mellon for operational risk services for Global Corporate Trust, Depositary Receipts, Treasury Services and Global Operations in EMEA. Compliance helps ensure BNY Mellon's businesses maintain appropriate processes to comply with applicable laws, regulations, BNY Mellon policies and ethics. This is accomplished through business- and business partner-specific teams of professionals, under centralized global management.


The Team Member for Third Party ORM relationships will help further mature the framework supporting the management of Operational Risks which result from the use of external and/or inter-affiliate third parties. This centralized team of subject matter experts will ensure proper identification, assessment and management of external third party risk through coordination and oversight of delegated tasks. Key responsibilities: Assist in establishing an enterprise-wide third party risk framework (TPRF) that facilitates the assessment of external or inter-affiliate third parties and the risks they manage on behalf of the Firm and risks they create for the Firm by nature of the external relationship. The TPRF will be integrated into the Firm's broader Operational Risk framework. Support Team Head in developing policies, procedures, tools, training and standards needed to support the TPRF. Build awareness across the Firm and interpret the application of external third party risk in the context of the Firm's risk and control environment; including facilitating coordination across the organization for external third parties used by multiple business/functions. Assist with developing aggregate risk reporting for senior management and conduct portfolio analysis. Provide Business Risk Officers with the tools and training to enforce the TPRF.


Bachelor's degree in a related design field with 8+ years of relevant Risk and Control experience in a corporate environment, preferably within financial services.
