  • An engineer in product design with good communication skills to work on vehicle complete seat systems. The engineer will provide technical customer interface for the program and/or product and must demonstrate the ability to plan, organize and deliver engineering program requirements.

  • Responsibilities include: executing robust designs, manufacturing feasibility, high quality on drawing releases, prototype parts and production parts.

  • Unique Challenges include: Balancing multiple requirements from differing internal functional groups, Subject matter Experts and the customer to find optimized technical solutions to meet objectives such: as costs, performance , timing and launch. Responsibilities:

  • A Design Release/Product Engineer with strong interest in product design and excellent communication skills is needed to work on vehicle seating systems.

  • Will be responsible for supporting technical and program interactions with the customer platform team on a vehicle program.

  • Should have strong technical background along with good program management skills.

  • Engineer should have good communication skills - written and verbal; ability to balance conflicting requirements and risk.

  • Ability to travel to customer and supplier manufacturing plants.

  • A strong work ethic and hands on attitude is needed for supporting project deliverables.

  • The Engineer needs to have good analytical skills and work effectively with customers/ suppliers and the development team.


  • Completed a 4 year B.S. degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (not looking for recent Master’s graduates).

  • The engineer needs to have good analytical skills and work effectively with customers / suppliers and the development team.

  • CAD experience CATIA or Unigraphics- an added plus.
