An engineer in product design with good communication skills to work on vehicle complete seat systems. The engineer will provide technical customer interface for the program and/or product and must demonstrate the ability to plan, organize and deliver engineering program requirements.
Responsibilities include: executing robust designs, manufacturing feasibility, high quality on drawing releases, prototype parts and production parts.
Unique Challenges include: Balancing multiple requirements from differing internal functional groups, Subject matter Experts and the customer to find optimized technical solutions to meet objectives such: as costs, performance , timing and launch. Responsibilities:
A Design Release/Product Engineer with strong interest in product design and excellent communication skills is needed to work on vehicle seating systems.
Will be responsible for supporting technical and program interactions with the customer platform team on a vehicle program.
Should have strong technical background along with good program management skills.
Engineer should have good communication skills - written and verbal; ability to balance conflicting requirements and risk.
Ability to travel to customer and supplier manufacturing plants.
A strong work ethic and hands on attitude is needed for supporting project deliverables.
The Engineer needs to have good analytical skills and work effectively with customers/ suppliers and the development team.
Completed a 4 year B.S. degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (not looking for recent Master’s graduates).

CAD experience CATIA or Unigraphics- an added plus.
