We are looking for a working student in the area of development operations at the SAP Innovation Center Network. As part of our Strategy and Operations team, you will have the opportunity to directly support our project teams as well as shape and build the DevOps infrastructure for the SAP Innovation Center Network. You have a hands-on mentality and a natural curiosity to learn new technologies and improve state-of-the-art infrastructures. Location for this position is Potsdam. There is a shuttle for SAP employees running from Berlin-Westkreuz to Potsdam and back every day.



Your job would be to support the technical area of our Strategy and Operations team with the following tasks:

  • Maintain & develop the physical & virtual infrastructure

  • Maintain & optimize the tools landscape and build pipeline to support development projects for faster turnaround and easier scaling

  • Support other operations tasks and initiatives from a technical side to improve communications, visibility & productivity



  • Student (f/m) - preferred field(s) of study: Computer Sciences or related fields

  • DevOps experience and skills in Linux / Unix, Infrastructure Automation, SQL and at least one programming or scripting language (Python, Ruby, Java, JavaScript, Bash, …) are a must-have

  • Strong understanding of networking, operating systems and cloud infrastructures are a plus

  • Language skills: Advanced English and fluent German

  • Soft skills: Strong team working and communication skills

  • Others: reliable, pro-active, open-minded and diligent
