The Account Opening Specialist is responsible for supporting Client Support Services (CSS) by providing timely and accurate account opening including documentation review. He/she would deliver an excellent Client experience by providing consistent, high quality services to partners and clients. This individual needs to be proactive in resolving issues and own them from the beginning through resolution.

Major Job Responsibilities:

  • Open consumer and entity accounts in compliance with legal and regulatory mandates using Systematics, CitiSmart, NetX360, Open Wealth, OneSource, DMS, WINS and the Access Database

  • Perform day 2 verification, fulfillment and OneSource linking of accounts

  • Perform requested documentary maintenance on existing accounts that come thru ARD module of OneSource

  • Support the business by providing root cause analysis of client visible issues and reporting results

  • Identify process improvements to streamline processes and reduce cycle time in support of current and new products


Knowledge/Skills Required:

  • Possess the ability to work in a high volume environment where deadlines are a must to satisfy clients

  • Strong leader and team player with excellent problem solving and interpersonal skills

  • Excellent computer skills with superior attention to detail

  • Proactive communication (verbal and written) skills

  • Ability to prioritize and organize effectively

  • Must be control minded

  • Knowledge of bank and investment products or the ability to quickly come up the learning curve
