The Naval Intelligence Community spans across many organizations that provide direct support to the Navy, Marine Corps, U.S. Coast Guard and various Joint and Fleet Commands. The selectee for this position serves as an Audio Visual Specialist at the entry/development GG-09 grade level assisting with conference support and management requirements, providing audio visual (AV) support and assisting vendors with installation of all equipment to ensure it meets set objectives and established criteria. This position is located in Quantico, VA.

  • Schedule and connect applicable room-based and desktop Video Teleconference (VTC) systems.
  • Assist with providing live end user support for live events in the command conference rooms, training rooms, and remote locations under direction of other specialists.
  • Operate and maintain audio visual solutions incorporated with Cisco/Tandberg video teleconference systems for video conferencing/multi-point meetings in classified environments.
  • Assist with providing audio visual support for live presentations and special events to include, unrehearsed live events, sound support for visual and video film excerpts.

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at the GG/GS-07 grade level in the federal government (or in the private or public sector) performing some or all of the following duties: 1)Utilize the ability to set up, diagnose, and effect on-site repair of multimedia system components. * 2)Assist with Audio Visual presentation services and support. * 3) Assist with the scheduling, operation, installation and maintenance of the conference rooms equipped with complete multi-media capabilities, and multiple Video Teleconference (VTC) systems. 4)Monitor the efficiency of Audio Visual/Video Teleconference systems and maintain technical knowledge for Video Teleconference (VTC) programs.


You possess a Master's degree or equivalent graduate degree OR (2) full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree.


You have less than the full amount of specialized experience; however, you have completed some college level education; therefore you believe you can adequately perform the duties of this position based on the combination of experience and education.

Selectee must complete a Special Background investigation and receive a favorable adjudication by a determining authority. A Top Secret security clearance is a requirement of this position and access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI). Failure to obtain and maintain this required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a position offer or removal.
