Goodwill Industries of Southeastern Wisconsin, Inc OWI Assessor in Racine, Wisconsin
The OWI Assessor assess referred consumers for substance use disorders using State of Wisconsin W.A.I.D. assessment instrument, develop Driver Safety Plan, Case Management and complete required reports to Department of Transportation.
A. Essential Job Functions:
Assess all incoming referred consumers for Substance Use Disorders
Prepare required reports in a timely manner.
Provide case management services to all referred consumers.
Report compliance and driver safely plans to Department of transportation in an accurate and timely manner.
Maintain consumer and business confidentiality.
Engage and motivate uncooperative consumers.
Maintain a safe and neat work environment.
B. Marginal Job Functions:
- Other duties as assigned.
A. Core Competencies:
Strong Assessment skills.
Use of Motivational Interviewing.
Knowledge of Intoxicated Driver Laws and penalties in the State of Wisconsin.
Clear written and spoken communication.
Ability to work with a wide range of consumer.
B. Training and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in human services or related field or 5 years experience in Intoxicated Driver Program.
C. License or Certificate:
IDP – AT (Intoxicated Driver Program – Approved Training)
SAC or CSAC in addition to IDP-AT is preferred.
