Job Description

  • Development of generic design / material solutions for powertrain sensors and actuators

  • Project management / technical lead of internal generic projects

  • Work out design solutions taking into consideration aspects for function, material, production and costs

  • Present and discuss projects results with internal stakeholders

  • Manage sample build, testing and sample analysis

  • Work out design guideline and technical standards

  • Manage Project timing

  • D-FMEA for technical solutions

  • Networking with other business units, universites, suppliers

Job Requirements

  • Degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent

  • Several years of experience in automotive business in mechanical design

  • Solid technical knowledge base

  • Techniques for fault analysis and problem solving

  • Very good communication skills in German and English (written and spoken)

  • Knowledge of DFSS, FMEAs, DOE, DV planning & reporting, statistics

  • Very good knowledge in designing

  • More than three years knowledge in Pro-Engineer

  • Collaboration experience with electronic hardware designers

  • Creativity, flexibility and team work

  • Systematic work and structured & detail orientation/thinking

  • Personal initiatives and moderating skills
