1 Obtains quality mammograms with the ability to adapt to specific patient morphology

2 Complies with radiation safety guidelines. Operates radiographic equipment safely.

3 Demonstrates ability to perform all necessary computer operations 4 Render patient care in a professional and courteous manner 5 Prepare examination rooms for mammographic procedures 6 Demonstrates knowledge of quality assurance and assists supervisor in implementation and documentation.

7 Reviews each exam for technical accuracy on all images

8 Demonstrates willingness to assist in additional duties

9 Completes and maintains education requirements

REQUIRED: None

PREFERRED: One-year as a staff mammographer


EDUCATION

REQUIRED: Graduate of AMA approvedSchoolofRadiologic Technology. Responsible for continuing education credits as mandated by the ARRT for licensure.
