This position requires flexible scheduling, a high school diploma (or GED), at least 6 months previous customer service and/or sales experience, type 20- 25 wpm, complete a typing test and PeopleAnswers assessment.


  • Handle questions via phone addressing billing, upgrades or troubleshooting issues for telecommunications, cable and technology clients.

  • Reporting/escalating issues through the appropriate channels.

  • Effectively communicate (verbally & written) information with his/her team members & customers alike.

  • Strive to meet highest level of customer satisfaction by resolving customers issue in professional & timely manner.

  • Multitasking through multiple computer software programs while interacting with customers.

  • Up-selling and Cross-selling is for Wireless, TV, Internet, and home phone based products

  • Listen attentively to customer needs and concerns; demonstrate empathy; meeting Customer requirements on a first call resolution

  • Once Customer issue is resolved Transition to sell products to improve customer retention and value

  • Additional responsibility as business needs dictate.

Skills :

  • Excellent Customer Service Skills

  • Strong written, verbal and organization skills

  • Superior time management and prioritization skills

  • Proficiency with navigating through multiple systems

  • Experience working with cellular, cable, internet or telephone products a plus

  • Typing skills

  • Deductive Reasoning Skills

  • Up-selling experience preferred

  • Excellent listening skills

  • Ability to learn on the fly

  • Ability to ask appropriate probing questions

  • Problem solving skills

  • 6 months of Customer Service experience; Sales and Call Center experience preferred.

  • Ability to Transition and sell multiple products after resolving call-in issue

  • Solid problem solving skills. Some technical knowledge and Sales skills

  • Basic sales closure techniques, confidence in products and advocate skills

Candidate Profile:

Knowledge of basic computer operations to rotate shifts, as needed. Ability to learn. Courteous with strong customer service orientation. Dependable with proficient attention to detail. Good listening and responding skills. Must be flexible with the ability to adapt to changes quickly and think conceptually. Possess insight into self and others. Solid problem solving skills. Some technical knowledge.

Environment, Physical & Other Requirements:

Ability to perform light hand activity work at a computer/telephone station in an office environment. Position is primarily sedentary. May stretch or stand at workstation for short periods at employee’s option, as long as such activity does not detract from the employee’s work, or interfere with other employees.
