Infrastructure Project Manager

Our customer base includes financial institutions and merchants.\n\nWhat is the responsibility of a Project Delivery Lead?\noLeading the IT Infrastructure Projects Team to deliver all projects successfully by meeting agreed requirements with operational, performance, compliance, policy and MasterCard standards in mind\noMeet with all team members regularly, formally and informally to monitor performance and set expectations. Provide and organise training for staff where appropriate. Maintain a high level of communication with all teams to understand needs, concerns and issues.\noManage resources and develop processes to work together with the wider Scrum teams to ensure that the business objectives are delivered. Ensure that the team members are engaged with the relevant Scrum team members, Scrum Master and Developers\noHand over successful projects to Operations teams (Production Support, Infrastructure Operations and other relevant teams) in line with the requirements of operation teams. \noEnsure that knowledge and information is shared, and productive relationship are maintained with the wider team (e.g. Architect and operation teams etc)\noProcess for engaging and interactions with project managers, technical analysts, development teams in the delivery of projects with Infrastructure groups. Be across and understand existing Software Development LifeCycle processes and update all impacted Infrastructure teams when relevant.\noKeep track of all project deliverables artifacts such as project calendars, project resources to ensure successful delivery of projects \noBe involved in the management of regional infrastructure resources such as Build Master / Environment Management, database administrators and Server engineers to ensure similar successful project deliveries as stated above.\n\nThe candidate who is fit for the role should be able to;\noStrong people management skills - ability to build relationships, foster strong team dynamics, and build competency level of team. \noManage a team to meet or exceed client expectations through clear communication of requirements.\noSelf-motivated and technically capable working in a fast paced environment \noWell organised, can do attitude and experience in working with PCI-DSS Compliant organisations \noAbility to lead projects confidently and delivery focused. \noAbility to schedule multiple activities to meet deadlines. \noExperience in determining and monitoring varying workloads for multiple team members in a time critical environment.\noExcellent communicator in written and verbal forms\noExperience with Agile Scrum/Kanban processes and with Infrastructure experience or background\noUnderstand client expectations and key drivers for the business and wider organization.\nRole\n\nLeading the IT Infrastructure Projects Team to deliver all projects successfully by meeting agreed requirements with operational, performance, compliance, policy and MasterCard standards in mind \nWhile this is not a hands-on technical role, it is important to have a good technical understanding of infrastructure and the ability to understand technical issues and root cause analysis practises.\nLogical thinker and extensive hands-on operations experience in an enterprise environment; Windows, desktop, server operating systems, server virtualisation (VMware), LAN/WAN/SAN, back-up services, databases, web, networking & security.\n\nAll About You\n\nStrong people management skills, build relationships, foster strong team dynamics, and build competency level of team. \nGood stakeholder management skills at all levels\nAbility to estimate required effort for projects and manage budgets if required\nGood understanding of the organizations goals and objectives\nUnderstanding with network switching, routing, firewalls\nSelf-motivated and directed, with keen attention to detail\nAble to prioritise and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment\nExperience with Agile Scrum/Kanban processes\nExperience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment\nExperience working with an operations and project delivery environment
