BJC Home Care Services offers patients and their families a complete range of home care services, including skilled nursing services, adult and pediatric hospice and supportive care, rehabilitation therapy, home infusion therapy, infusion treatment rooms, home medical equipment and high-tech respiratory care. Specialty home care programs also are available, including adult and pediatric asthma, cardiac, diabetes, orthopedic and wound care programs as well as the Lifeline emergency response system. The Home Medical Equipment Department of BJC Home Care Services offers quality medical equipment and services that our patients can purchase or rent. We offer equipment delivery and comprehensive training on the use of the equipment. The Home Medical Equipment Department also provides home respiratory equipment, supplies and services for patients who need home oxygen or other respiratory therapies, with staff that include registered therapists and other highly trained professionals.

Role Purpose

Responsible for the oversight of the Qi/Education Program for assigned product line. Participates in planning, organizing, and implementing the clinical orientation and staff development programs.


  • Assists managers in data collection and report preparation relative to quality improvement processes, education, and outcome monitoring and benchmarking.

  • Facilitates in-services and training programs for clinical and support staff relative to clinical competency and quality improvement initiatives.

  • Manages preceptor and orientation programs for new hires, trains CPR classes and fit testing, and assists with the development and revision of policies and procedures.

  • Educates staff about regulatory compliance with federal, state and Joint Commission regulations

  • Responds to Additional Development Request (ADR) and requests for records

Minimum Requirements


  • Nursing Diploma/Associate's


  • 2-5 years

Supervisor Experience

  • No Experience

Licenses & Certifications

  • RN

Preferred Requirements


  • Bachelor's Degree

    • Nursing


  • 5-10 years

Clinical - DirectSkills

  • Home Health Care - 2 years or more
