Accounts Receivable Associate (Finance)

Job Description

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

Monthly financial reporting and analysis of performance

Assist in the development and maintenance of key metrics for Business Units.

Understand financial aspects of the business and be able to highlight Business Unit strengths and weaknesses.

Work with various Business Units to drive cost reductions and process improvement.

Analyze key drivers and trends analysis of revenue and cost to implement actionable measures.

Responsible for revenue recognition.

Work with programmers to validate systems are capturing correct revenue numbers

Read and understand contractual agreements and ensure Business Units follow these contracts

Perform ad hoc analysis as needed.

Education & Professional Certifications:

Bachelor’s degree in related field from a four-year college or university.

Candidate Profile:

Three to five years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Must have proficiency with various software applications programs including, Microsoft Office.

Experience analyzing monthly financial results and performing in-depth financial analysis.

Experience establishing financial controls and establishing financial strategies to build EVA.

Experience working with Management to set and achieve goals and assist in development and input of assumptions for forecasts and budgets.

Experience developing and presenting performance reports to Management enabling them to leverage and maximize financial results.

Ability to conduct product and market performance analyses and identifies and recommends actions as needed.

Ability to make recommendations including expense controls, asset management, and pricing and product management.

Excellent written and oral communication skills, detail oriented, proficient with PCs for analysis and modeling, creative thinking, economic, and analytical skills.

Ability to multitask, work under strict deadlines and perform under pressure.
