The Parts Specialist will act as a liaison for the customer by purchasing parts from manufacturers and suppliers while performing other duties such as processing parts orders, updating inventory records, verifying customer credit, and advising the parts manager on activities and matters that may affect the efficiency of operations or compromise the quality of customer service offered.

Job Requirements:

• Possession of extraordinary customer service, communication, and organizational skills are essential to the successful execution of this position

• A High School diploma or equivalent is required

• The individual must have the ability to multi-task, problem-solve, lift up to 40lbs, and operate a forklift

• Basic working knowledge of computer processes is necessary for day to day operations

• Basic computer skills along with basic working knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook

• Ability to operate forklift (load, unload freight carriers)

• Ability to lift 40 pounds

• Valid Driver’s license is required

Preferred Qualifications:

• Technical or vocational training is preferred

• Experience in the construction or heavy equipment industry is a plus

• Knowledge of Heavy Construction Equipment and Cranes is very beneficial
