We have an exciting opportunity for a Staff SW Developer at our Mission Systems facility.


  • In this role, the successful candidate must have advanced conceptual understanding of software development concepts, theory, and operations and have applied that knowledge in the implementation of new principles and concepts.

  • Candidate will work on radar signal processing with a focus on advanced signal processing concepts.

  • Need the ability to lead teams on multiple embedded development/implementation activities.

  • Chosen candidate will work on both legacy and new embedded code bases. They will implement signal processing techniques in a real-time multi-compute-node system, and perform data analysis.

  • Candidate will work in a multi-disciplined environment, designing, implementing, and debugging software that interfaces with FPGAs, GPGPUs and other hardware components utilizing both COTS and custom boards.

Job Qualifications

  • Typically requires a bachelors degree, masters degree or PhD in computer science, information systems or related discipline and progressive software development experience as follows; fifteen or more years of experience with a bachelors degree, thirteen or more years of experience with a masters degree, or ten or more years with a PhD.

  • Must have demonstrated experience in successful project and/or program leadership providing technical leadership that resulted in successfully meeting established project milestones, Key Performance Parameters and Customer Satisfaction.

  • Must be a strong oral and written communicator with demonstrated ability to influence and lead teams. The candidate must demonstrate the ability to successfully communicate project status, risks, and issues to senior management.

  • Previous experience and high proficiency in C and C++ coding is required.

  • Solid background in signal processing code development, system integration, and data analysis is required.

  • Must have direct experience programming GPGPUs for Intel based systems.

  • Experience with Xylinx and Altera FPGAs and VHDL coding is required.

  • Familiarity with real-time systems such as MCOE, GreenHills, VxWorks, or RT Linux is highly desired.

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Security Clearance is required.
