The Sales Rep III leads business development and specifically revenue growth across the most complex Markets Group suite of products and services such as US debt and securities clearance, tri-party collateral management, including derivatives, etc., and participates in the cross sell of related firm-wide products to both clients and prospects. Sales Reps are responsible for the execution of sales strategies and achieving the largest business development goals in assigned territory/product(s). Sales Rep III incumbents handle top tier clients and prospects.

Position requires both detailed and strategic knowledge of the financial services industry and its participants. Position requires sales experience with, and fundamental knowledge of the business and service needs of the target market. A deep understanding of the regulatory framework for the financial services industry is critical; particularly given the changes within that framework and its potential impact on prospective clients. Extensive knowledge of the complex Markets Group product offerings as well as the competitive environment is also required. Strong, widespread relationships with influencers for the industry (i.e., consultants, etc.) are key as they shape the strategy for both clients and prospects as well as strategic product developments. The ability to think innovatively and to apply technical knowledge in new markets and/or with new products is expected. Must ensure compliance with internal policy and external regulation, and mitigate risk.

Must maintain a comprehensive understanding of the various intra-company strategies across a full range of related Company products and services and work in close collaboration across the Markets Group and with business partners. This includes: Client Management, Relationship Management, Product Management, Service Delivery, Legal and Technology. Must take a leadership role in identifying and resolving issues for prospective clients as related to new business development.

The role will require independent engagement with a broad cross section of senior Markets Group managers/professionals as well as the Company overall. Significant interaction required with external clients & prospects at all levels of management as well as within the Markets Group Sector. Must foster an environment of teamwork and collaborate across all areas of the business and with shared services partners.


Bachelor's degree. MBA preferred. 10 to 12+ years related experience in the securities servicing industry, including at least 7 years working with broker dealers, clearing, and collateral management. 15+ years related experience in the securities servicing industry, including at least 10 years working with broker dealers, clearing, and collateral management preferred. Excellent sales, interpersonal, communications (oral and written), analytic and technical skills.
