Kelly Services Battery Test Assembler in Santa Clara Valley, California

Battery Test Assembler with voltage and electrical impedance experience – Contract- Sunnyvale, CA (95014)

In this role placed by Kelly services, you will assemble batteries into carriers for testing using basic hand tools with both hands. Also you will place loaded fixtures into semi- automated test stations. Load and unload carriers from thermal chambers. Careful handling and attention to detail is important.

Alternative shifts (swing, weekend-day) from the following options:

A: 10-4 shift : Sat - Sun : 9am to 6pm ; Mon - Tue : 12pm to 10pm B:. Mon- Fri : 1pm to 10pm C: Wed - Fri : 3pm to 12 am ; Sat-Sun 9am to 5pm

Your Must Haves:


Experience and knowledge with voltage and impedance. Experience in data entry using excel. Familiarity with Windows and mac OS environments preferred. Must be able to work in a repetitive environment. 2+ Years of experience in electrical testing of devices is required (medical devices, semiconductors, solar, Aerospace or battery industries.) Experience of handling of Lithium ion batteries is preferred but not essential. Ability to follow documented procedures and give feedback on existing or missing procedures. Good communication skills in order to report issue clearly and effectively. Job duties may require additional work like assisting in organizing of inventory and warehouse. Experience in wiring and soldering is desirable but not essential. Safety training in previous jobs preferred. Experience working with Torque wrenches. thickness gauges preferred. Lifting requirement (weight): 30 lbs
