Robert Half Finance & Accounting Credit/Collections Supervisor/Manager in Savannah, Georgia
My client has an immediate need for a Corporate Credit Manager. The Credit Manager is accountable for the entire credit granting process, including the consistent application of a credit policy, periodic credit reviews of existing customers, and the assessment of the credit worthiness of potential customers, with the goal of optimizing the mix of company sales and bad debt losses. The Credit Manager will be also be responsible for managing credit loss exposure, supporting sales efforts with managed risks and managing and motivating team members to meet set expectations. The Credit Manger will report to the Chief Operating Officer. The Credit Manager will supervise a staff of 3-4 Credit Analysts. Expected to travel to customer locations on short notice to conduct negotiations.

- 5+ years of credit experience
- Bachelor's degree in business and experience with credit scoring systems preferred
- 2+ years of experience managing a team of three or more
- Have a thorough knowledge of credit-related laws
- Be willing to periodically travel to customer sites
- Have considerable experience with customer negotiations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced office environment
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and AS400
