PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVE
SAP is currently seeking an experienced Senior Solution Sales Specialist to sell our Human Capital Management (HCM) Solutions. The role is predominately focused on new customers to SAP’s HCM solutions: these are existing SAP customers who do not have any HCM solutions yet. The primary focus is to sell our cloud based solutions - the SuccessFactors product line.
This is direct sales position; responsibilities include prospecting, qualifying, selling and closing new business to existing and net new customers.
EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
Sell value and ROI into HR Leaders and C-Level business decision makers
Develop in depth knowledge of SuccessFactors Cloud and SAP HCM software, and effectively sell to clients through initial phone conversations, face-to-face meetings, and product demonstrations
Align SuccessFactors/SAP solutions with the customer’s strategic objectives
Manage and drive multiple concurrent sales cycles effectively
Qualify and forecast deals accurately
Build strong & maintain strong client relationships to pave the way for additional future sales
Upsell and cross-sell existing SAP accounts and likely some SuccessFactors’ customers
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATION / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES / WORK EXPERIENCE
10 years overall sales experience, including significant time as an outside representative with exposure to HR sell OR WE WILL ALSO CONSIDER
3 years previous experience selling HRIS/HCM software, HR Consulting or strong functional Human Resources experience
Proven history of being a top performer in a company for multiple years running
Highest level of professional courtesy, mutual respect, and ethics
High standard of excellence, professionalism, and role model behavior
Interaction with senior executives across multiple industries
Strong C-level/board level communication and presentation skills
Ability to change objectives quickly when necessary in ever-evolving, fast paced industry and organization
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in related fields (Business / Engineering or Technology)
Completion of Sales Methodology training preferred
