Responsible for acquisition of small and medium enterprises (SMEs) primarily through Unsecured Business Loans (UBL). Upon successful acquisition, to cross-sell deposits, account transactions, foreign exchange, trade and wealth management over a period. Able to work towards achieving set goals, independently source for leads and successfully converting leads to sales. Additional responsibilities include referrals to other banking segments. Adherence to AML and compliance standards is mandatory. Job role is an integral part of the frontline and sales function and performance is directly measurable and rewarded.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Acquire SME clients through UBL

  • Cross-sell deposits, account transactions, foreign exchange, trade and wealth management over a period

  • Refer sales opportunities to other banking segments within CitiBusiness or Citibank

  • Meet sales, cross-sell and referral targets

  • Adherence to KYC and compliance policies and banking regulations when discharging responsibilities

  • Input of sales opportunities into sales interface and ensuring performance MTD is to expectations and comparable with peers


  • At least 2 years of UBL sales experience

  • Proven track record in sales

  • Business Banking experience is a bonus

  • Good understanding of KYC, compliance and local banking regulations
