o Researches and recommends the appropriate system software to meet corporate standards and objectives for system performance.
o Identifies and solves complex and critical systems related issues to meet the objectives for the corporation.
o Assists with complex issues in the installation, support, troubleshooting, and repair of data center equipment.
o Communicates with internal and external system users to address concerns and make sure that technical issues are dealt with appropriately.
o Manages ticket queues and handles complex escalated issues.
o Works with vendors to ensure efficient incident resolution.
o Contributes to the achievement of area objectives.
* * Intel based / Blade Server Hardware support* – Troubleshoot/Remediate
Mainframe mapping, cabling and troubleshooting
Plan and maintain data center infrastructure including mainframe, open systems, storage and network hardware
Coordination of hardware installations
Change and incident management
Telco support, extending circuits
Troubleshooting cable issues – copper and fiber
Shipping and receiving – Asset tracking
Ability to work with vendors
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and various web GUIs.
The Job shift will be 3rd Shift F-S-S.
Associates. BS preferred. 1 Year, but we will train. 5 years preferred.
