Job Description Responsible for the performance of relatively small projects or a definable portion of a larger program in accordance with contract requirements and company policies, procedures and guidelines. Also responsible for acquiring follow-on business associated with assigned projects and for supporting new business development by leading relatively small proposals or assisting with major proposals.
Responsible for the management, administrative and operational leadership of large scale Shipboard C4ISR design, Installation, production and testing evolutions within a program as defined by the Program Manager to include: risk schedule, cost and scope of work.
Serves as the primary point of contact for the customer, subcontractors and project teams. Develops reports on the status of assigned projects, initiates corrective measures when necessary to support assigned tasks.
Maintains and updates action items, participates in scheduled weekly meetings to report status and metrics, develops presentations, reviews and recommends changes.
Proficient in MS Project.
Required Skills A Bachelor degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of ten to twelve years of related experience in a related technical environment are required. At a minimum: BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science/Engineering, Business Management or equivalent.
10 years of experience leading teams in C4ISR or combat systems shipboard integration/installation and testing, systems engineering and production efforts.
Experience with government drawing (NAVSEA) standards for Navy New Construction, knowledge of Exterior Communications, Intelligence systems and network systems.
3-5 years demonstrated experience performing design engineering, studies, and requirements analysis on Navy Ships.
ACTIVE Secret clearance required.
Work is generally performed in a normal office environment where there is minimal exposure to unpleasant and/or hazardous working conditions. Job assignments may require working at client site where working conditions may vary. Travel may be required.

Department Our services in the Defense business unit support all branches of the U.S. military and the intelligence community. Our teams provide a variety of support services related to the maintenance and life cycle sustainment of US Navy, US Coast Guard and Customs and Border Patrol fielded C5I systems. We are focused on the design, systems engineering, project management, procurement, installation, training, testing, and field maintenance of these systems.
