SuccessFactors is seeking a junior Sales Support Engineer to provide guidance to the presales cloud support organization and drive cross-departmental partnerships for enhancing the demo experience. This role is the primary liaison from presales support (Solutions Experience) to engineering aligned by pillar. The primary focus is to internally analyze incoming JIRAs to determine validity, troubleshoot and resolve if possible, or escalate to engineering after providing any additional logs and other details. Secondarily, this role will automate presales demo scripts using the QA automation framework based on Selenium to ensure stability of features to be demoed.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Monitor JIRA queues and manage volume of incoming incidents and identify opportunities for improvement

  • Provide module/product advisement including options, capabilities, and solution best practices

  • Troubleshoot and resolve JIRAs related to configuration, data, or the environment

  • Ensure that JIRAs developers are working on are legitimate and well-documented

  • Build automation tools, scripts, and processes to improve efficiency & reliability of cloned demo instances

  • Focus on strong relationship management and effective collaboration with cross-functional teams for better outcomes

Required Experience and Skills:

  • 0-2 years of direct related work experience with the SuccessFactors product suite

  • BS in Computer Science or equivalent work experience

  • Strong analytical, organizational and problem-solving aptitude

  • Excellent communication, follow-up and documentation skills

  • Effectively interacts with all levels of support and engineering

  • Enthusiasm, internal leadership, strong work ethic and a positive attitude

  • Demonstrated ability to take on independent learning and flexibility

  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work in a very fast paced, time sensitive environment

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience with SAAS solutions

  • Experience with analysis tools such as Splunk, OpTier, etc.

  • Experience with issue tracking system such as JIRA

  • Working knowledge of automation tools such as Selenium

  • Maximum of 0-2 years of experience
