Security Computer Investigator
Security Computer Investigator or digital forensics expert will serve as a source of technical counsel and provide advice for forensic collection and processing activities. Will also provide data collection and processing support for investigations and litigations (such as: forensic acquisition of electronic storage device (ESD), collection/capture of electronically stored information (ESI), ESD seizure, forensic examination/analysis, data recovery, documentation and reporting, and expert witness testimony.)
Responsibilities will also include the planning, organization, conduct, and direct data collections and processing on Windows-, Linux-, and MAC-based desktop/laptop computer systems, servers to include SQL, Exchange and Files Shares, mobile devices, and related digital storage media. Manage examinations through the entire lifecycle (case planning, intake, acquisition, examination, presentation and disposition).
All applicants must have an active TS/SCI clearance and agree to undergo a Polygraph examination to be considered for this position.
Possess a minimum of 10+ years of relevant experience in the field of Security Computer Investigator/Digital Forensics Expert.
Working knowledge of Windows, Linux and MAC based desktop/laptop computer systems
Working knowledge of Servers to include SQL, Exchange and Files Shares, mobile devices, and related digital storage media.
Proficiency using MS Office Suite is desired
Experience writing and executing plans and programs at the Customer Headquarters level is beneficial
Good communication skills in order to interact with various levels of government customers
Good Analysis skills to gauge customer needs
Ability to analyze technical and business needs of the customer
Good decision making and problem solving skills to determine and recommend the best solution to meet customer needs
Attention to detail with an ability to handle multiple tasks
- BA/BS in Computer Science or related science field preferred
