The Naval Intelligence Community spans across many organizations that provide direct support to the Navy, Marine Corps, U.S. Coast Guard and various Joint and Fleet Commands. Gain an understanding of the roles and responsibilities of the Navy relative to the broader Intelligence Community and work side by side with your fellow companions throughout the DOD and various other intelligence agencies.
This position serves as Executive Director, Supervisory Intelligence Specialist at the GG-15 grade level in the KENNEDY Irregular Warfare Center. Support the Commanding Officer in the management and direction of the Center, an Echelon IV Navy shore command. Guide and direct intelligence support to Navy Special Warfare Command (NSWC) and Navy Expeditionary Combat Command (NECC). This position is located in the Kennedy Irregular Warfare Center Staff (IWC-N00B) in Suitland, MD.
NOTE: As a condition of employment the following applies: this position is deployable, is in a Civilian Deployment Program (CDP), and is subject to meeting physical readiness requirements.
The candidate will have to sign a mobility agreement.
Serve as Executive Director in the KENNEDY Irregular Warfare Center.
Support the Commanding Officer in the management and direction of the Center, an Echelon IV Navy shore command.
Broadly administer KENNEDY deployment operations for the manning, training, equipping and deployment of military and civilian personnel to combat zones and other theaters of operation.
Responsible for strategies to recruit, hire, develop and retain civilian personnel.
Ensure procedures are in place for civilian performance management, recognition and awards.
Manage fiscal (MIP) programming, and budget execution.
Develop yearly spend plans for IT, training, logistics and contractual support.
Provide expert guidance and direction to managers of all-source analysis, deployment operations, manpower, IT, administration and training.
Develop yearly business plans and strategies for monitoring completion of project milestones.
Participate in development of policies and procedures required for the success of the KENNEDY Center mission.

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GG-14 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Manage the commands resources, including budget and human capital; 2) Perform program management or program support; 3) Provide intelligence or operational support to special operations, and expeditionary operations; 4) Familiarity with intelligence, irregular warfare, special operations, and expeditionary warfare; 5) Collaborate with senior officers and civilians.

A Top Secret security clearance is a requirement of this position and access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI).
