Washington State DSHS Secretary Senior in Tacoma, Washington


Are you an organized individual who is able to prioritize to meet deadlines?

We're looking for someone to perform a variety of detailed secretarial duties and process court reports for Children's Administration with the Pierce East Division of Children and Family Services Office, located in Tacoma, Washington.

As a Secretary Senior you'll:

  • Work in a fast paced environment.
  • Perform a variety of complex secretarial duties.
  • Process time sensitive court reports.
  • Provide reception coverage by answering the telephone, screening calls and referring visitors.
  • Maintain filing systems, data bases, multiple tracking logs and computer programs. What we're looking for:

  • Ability to use a computer and use multiple software applications. Knowledge of FamLink is a plus.

  • Knowledge of legal terminology and court reports.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Effective communication with skills, both verbally and in writing. Qualifications:

High School graduation or GED certification. and Two years of increasingly responsible office experience requiring keyboarding or typing.
