Robert Half Finance & Accounting Branch Manager in Toronto, Ontario

Our client, a lending institution in the downtown core, is seeking a Branch Manager to join their Toronto Branch. The Branch Manager will develop relationships with our client's existing members and actively seek further business opportunities within the Toronto area. The Branch Manager will also assist their members in achieving their financial goals by providing outstanding advice and recommendations to fit their needs through a wide range of financial services, including personal loans and investments. As a Branch Manager, you will also provide leadership and training to your sales team. In order to perform your functions as a Branch Manager, you must:

  • Exhibit a high commitment to members/clients by promoting the concept of relationship building to expand member/client relations and provide the appropriate advice and recommendations to fit their financial needs.

  • Through sales excellence earn the right to ask for business and drive new referrals.

  • Participate in marketing sales related business development activities by actively soliciting membership growth opportunities.

  • Promote a full range of personal banking products and services with emphasis on personal loans, mortgages, lines of credits, deposit and investments products and other services.

  • Interview loan and mortgage applicants, analyze financial information, assess credit and ensure compliance, operational and system controls in accordance with our client's regulatory standards and government regulations.

Requirements: In order to be considered for the Branch Manager role you must have:

  • A university degree and 5 years of experience in Canadian personal banking.

  • 3 years of experience managing staff and the ability to manage through change
