ARServices is seeking experienced IT Asset Manager to join our team. These professional technicians will work within the logistics management field. The IT Asset Manager assists with the establishment of the various inventory schedules and conduct inventories, accordingly. The IT Asset Manager assembles periodic asset account reviews and reports that are extracted from the Asset Management System into a Monthly Inventory Account Reconciliation Report. The ideal candidate will have experience at the military Division and/CORPS level material management centers. This position is located at Tracy, CA.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Maintain asset/inventory accuracy for warehoused materials

  • Ensure asset database is updated accurately through Remedy for assets in inventory, issued/deployed, and assessed

  • Manage physical inventories, location surveys, and perform research and reconciliation to correct accountability record imbalances and prevent denials

  • Identify repetitive processing errors and help resolve issues/problems in supply system work processes

  • Perform causative research for inventory adjustments

  • Coordinate receipts, storage, and asset disposal with Installation Support Activities

  • Coordinate (monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, cyclic, controlled item, and other Type

  • Physical Inventory Code) inventories

  • Assist Government Team Leads in purchasing, including data calls, management inquiries, reporting and expansion/refinement of the Asset Management System

  • Manage the physical inventory control program services that maintain integrity in mission material asset balances in accordance with DOD, DLA, and other Standard

  • Government and Commercial Asset Management Practices

  • Supervise Supply Technicians who inspect items for correct quantities and damage in shipment, work with inventory specialists to correct item stock numbers and identification codes, and conduct physical counts of inventory items.

  • Limited travel required to assist in the performance of inventories at other depot locations


  • 5-10 years’ general experience in integrated logistics support, with 5 specialized in asset/inventory management at depot and/or military installation levels, preferred

  • Bachelor degree desired; substitutable by experience

  • Experience utilizing DOD IT Asset Management Systems (ITAMS) preferred

  • Knowledge of standard Government asset management systems software programs

  • Ability to lift and move 50 pounds

  • Proficiency with MS Office-Microsoft Word/Excel and Outlook

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance required

  • Excellent oral and written communication and customer service skills
