Booz Allen Hamilton Information Security Engineer, Mid in Valdosta, Georgia

Key Role:

Work in a dynamic environment that combines Cybersecurity talent with business consulting expertise to deliver high-value client solutions. Provide Cybersecurity support for a broad range of needs, including certification and accreditation (C&A), assessment and authorization (A&A), systems and risk analyses, risk mitigation, and industry Cybersecurity best practices. Participate as part of a larger consulting team in the development of Cybersecurity documents to enable an Air Force client organization to meet program goals and objectives, develop and modify C&A and A&A documentation in compliance with USAF and DoD policy and guidance, including DoDI 8510.01, NIST SP 800-53, and CNSSI 1253, assess program security compliance, support program briefs, and coordinate and compile program security documentation for various programs. Participate in several testing scenarios, including detailed review of systems architectures and connectivity, performance of system scans, and onsite evaluation of system configuration to provide mitigation strategies to reduce risk and improve the security posture of the system. Create security assessment plans and reports that describe test procedures and findings. This position is located in Valdosta, GA.

Basic Qualifications:

-5 years of experience with IT and Cybersecurity practices

-2 years of experience with information assurance and Cybersecurity engineering, including the risk management framework (RMF) and security controls

-2 years of experience with systems engineering, including requirements analysis, architecture and design analysis, and network and system topologies

-Experience with systems administration, including Windows and UNIX

-Experience with one of the following key areas: the Command Cyber Readiness Inspection (CCRI), networking, or system administration, including Microsoft, SCCM, WSUS, or HBSS

-Ability to work in a close, interactive team environment

-Secret clearance

-BA or BS degree required

-IAT Level II Certification, including Security

Additional Qualifications:

-3 years of experience in working with DIACAP or RMF

-Experience in working with DoD Cybersecurity compliance requirements

-Experience with C&A and A&A

-Experience with the Command Cyber Readiness Inspection (CCRI) preferred

-Experience in working with DoD Cybersecurity compliance requirements

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

-MBA or MS degree

-IAT Level III Certification, including CISSP
