As a member of the Engineering Services team within the Products & Innovation group, the candidate’s mission will be to work closely with SAP development users worldwide to ensure the provisioning, administration and support of database systems and world-class services to our internal customers. Most of the technologies and database servers on the market are supported.


The DBA will be responsible for managing a collection of databases supporting test data, and to support users on these technologies. They will administer and support many database platforms including HANA, DB2, Oracle and SQL Server. They will work in collaboration with colleagues worldwide to ensure a high level of service to our internal customers’ connectivity to databases.


• Knowledge of UNIX and Windows operating systems

• Knowledge of at least one major database platform (e.g. HANA, Oracle, MSSQL Server, MySQL)

• Knowledge of Relational Database concepts

• Basic SQL knowledge

• Knowledge of Unix scripting technologies (Shell, Perl)

• Installation, administration & monitoring skills on various DB technologies

• Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment

• Strong service orientation

• Good oral and written communication

• Familiarity with SAP systems and applications


Requires candidates to currently be enrolled in an undergraduate, Masters or PhD degree program which is applicable to the position.

Can commit for 8 months full time internship starting January 2017.
