Job Purpose:

  • Formulation and quality execution of business strategy for multiple product lines to facilitate business expansion by maximizing revenues and EBIT

Job Background / Context:

Responsible for managing the Wealth Management sales business in GCG across products, channels and segments.

Responsible for delivering the Wealth Management P&L for GCG which includes Investment Analyst, Investments Advisory, Treasury Products, Insurance and Deposits & Transaction Banking.

Segment management responsibilities for BAH covering strategic segments defined by the consumer Global Organization. These segments are Citi Priority, CitiGold and CPC. To align value propositions to the defined segments to ensure Citi products, services, channels are above the defined close competitors so that the business can increase market share and grow at a faster phase that the market.

Key Responsibilities:


Drive sales in Mutual Funds and Structured Notes and deliver revenues. Develop Investment Advisory Model to provide Investment advice and recommendations to retail clients, private client groups, corporate treasuries, pension funds, sovereign funds and insurance companies.

Research and analysis financial and economic data of stocks, bonds, companies and mutual fund to create Asset Allocation Models for investment advisory function. Enhance the advisory wealth management services through research based model which includes analyzing financial data, trends in stock, bonds, currencies, fund house reports and publications do generate analytical reports that can be provided to clients.

Conduct portfolio reviews and to guide on decisions linked to asset allocation/ fund choices/ investment decisions based on analysis and research of markets (bonds & stocks), other published reports and in-house views.

Prepare Model Asset Allocation Portfolios and generate analytical reports, economic outlooks and advisory notes.

Partner with Product Head to deliver top quality products by providing feedback; give inputs into development of the Investment Products offering in line with clients' needs, market opportunities and the bank's product development strategy. Monitor market trends, financial reports on securities & funds company data and other investment information.

Work with distribution and product teams to recommend new product ideas based on investment analysis and research.


Drive the Bancassurance team sales in Pensions, Annuities and non-credit insurance and provide specific client based solutions, and achieve the annual APE targets sat by the business.

Treasury Products:

Launch and bring focus to Treasury products such as Dual Currency Accounts and Forex Services.

Deposits & Banking:

Deliver GCG funding requirements and optimize revenues through mix of DDA, Savings and Time Deposits as well as fees.

Citigold Segment:

Implement a disciplined approach to Citigold, Citi priority segment management in order to gain market share, increase share of wallet on the above mentioned segments and drive segment. Lead the Business Development team to acquire and increase the CG accounts to help RM cross sells investment/insurance products.

Work with Operations, Technology, Credit, Legal and Compliance functions for enhancing product offerings based on market feedback.



Over Ten Years’ Experience

Relevant work experience in the fields of, Investments Analysis, Research & Wealth Advisory Direct dealings with a customer on any matter.

Adequate experience in people management positions and Multi-functional ability to lead a business
