Fin Acct Lead Analyst - CRS
The CRS Accounting Lead is responsible to plan, direct and oversee daily and monthly operations plus any special projects such as: migration of functions and systems implementations to streamline business processes, as those relate to Citi Realty Services (CRS). Additionally, the process lead is also accountable for tactically coordinating a team of analysts to ensure actions needed for required trainings are delivered, documentation of procedures are updated and controls/validations identified and implemented appropriately.
This position will take ownership of and become the subject matter expert on Real Estate Accounting matters. This role will support and manage a number of different month end activities including sublease loss reserves, constructions projects capitalization, amortization schedules, account reconciliations and financial reporting activities. Additional responsibilities will include assisting the global team on policy updates, leading specific transformation projects, driving process and control standardization, and the development of improved monitoring controls.
The position is based in FRSS - Integrated Close in Costa Rica.
The leader should have a strong knowledge base, robust set of skills and strategic/leadership abilities to take ownership of end-to-end responsibilities, along with implementation of initiatives across products.
Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance. CPA or MBA is a plus
+10 years of experience in accounting related area
Thorough understanding of accounting and financial planning and analysis concepts.
USGAAP knowledge is required.
