PURPOSES AND OBJECTIVES
Strategic Pricing and Commercialization team is responsible for developing and implementing SAP’s commercial strategy, including pricing / commercializing SAP innovation (e.g. S/4HANA), adjusting commercial policies for existing offerings in line with market dynamics, and operationalizing SAP pricing policies.

Team’s mission: Develop and implement a commercial strategy that makes it easy for customers to consume our innovation, while helping SAP achieve it financial objectives
EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS:
Development of SAP’s commercial strategy and policies, as part of the team
Pricing SAP innovation as well as new partner offerings
Adjusting pricing for existing offerings based on market dynamics
Operationalizing SAP pricing (price list production, implementation in systems / tools, etc.)
Driving change in a large, global and distributed field organization
Develop and implement pricing strategies based on corporate strategy, economic and competitive dynamics
Price products and services appropriately based on the value being generated
Model different pricing scenarios based on competitor pricing models and value drivers.
Understand Contracts/Legal and Revenue Recognition rules
Ensure pricing models support financial objectives
Engage with Senior leadership to identify and address commercial topics
Help establish systematic review process to define pricing strategies across the portfolio
Develop and manage pricing review calendars & help achieve full-coverage across products
Work across global, cross-functional project teams in structuring and executing analysis required to develop pricing recommendations
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATION / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:
BA/BS degree with top-class academics; Graduate degree from a leading business school preferred
Distinctive problem solving and analytical skills and impeccable business judgment.
Self-starter who can work in a rapidly changing industry
You are comfortable with ambiguity and flexible in working across different cultures
You have strong problem-solving leadership with limited oversight
Outstanding communication and presentation skills, ability to influence Senior Executives and build relationships across functions, levels and geographies
Superior Excel modeling skills and proficient PowerPoint skills
5 years of total work experience; significant experience in the High Tech Industry a must
3-5 years of work experience in blue-chip management consulting preferred
The position can be also filled as part time position
