We are looking for an experienced HungarianPayroll Senior Specialist for our Payroll team within HR Shared Services department.

Who we are? HRSS provides HR related administrative services toin country HR and employees. Our team is responsible for supporting EMEAwith the Global payroll initiatives to strengthen and stabilize the BudapestCSC payroll operations.

This position is responsible for ensuring appropriate payroll ofHungary as well as other EMEA payrolls in a vendor managed and in-houseprocessed payroll environment .

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participating in the preparation and processing ofmonthly payroll runs

  • Responsible for on- and off-cycle payments as well as3rd party payment processes

  • Managing partnership with HP vendor and also withother internal departments

  • Maintaining appropriate records on employee receivablebalances and ensuring appropriate payroll deductions

  • Assisting in the month-end and year-end close process

  • Reconciling payroll account balances

  • Taking part in projects in regards HR, payroll,reporting tools, best practices, internal controls and process developments

  • Assisting auditors by providing supportingdocumentation

  • Providing summaries by compiling statistical andpayroll data

  • Resolving discrepancies of payroll information

  • Ensuring payroll accuracy to agreed Service Levels

  • Coaching and coordinating peers as necessary, byproviding guidance and leadership.

  • Fluent Hungarian and English language skills

  • Qualification in Labour Law, Payroll, Social Securityor Taxation

  • Solid knowledge of Employment processes and Labour law(Hungarian specific)

  • 3+ years of experience in Hungarian payrolloperation in a Shared Services environment

  • Experience with multiple countries’ payroll in theEMEA region

  • MS Office skills

  • Strong analytical skills are required for performingeffective controls to make sure accuracy

  • Accurate and precise

  • Strong problem-solving skills, ability to prioritise

  • Outstanding interpersonal skills and ability to ensureexcellent client service
