Financial Reporting:

  • Assist Business Unit Manager in all business financial and management reporting to Global Markets Asia Pacific Regional Finance team

  • Analysis and review of expenses in order to establish sound control cost processes; control direct expenses and monitor allocated expenses

  • Liaison with country product control in order to ensure reconciliation of front office revenue estimates with PCG P/L reports; congruence of month end front office estimates with PCG reported P/L

  • Liaison with Country Business Planning and Analysis in order to ensure completeness and timeliness of MIS items to be included in financial reports; coordinate OUC mappings into Global Markets product hierarchies to ensure consistency of reporting

  • Assist Business Unit Manager in the annual budget process; monitor adherence to budgets and performs timely variance analysis for review

Control and Compliance:

  • Implementation of policies as directed by regional and country control groups and ensuring business adherence to these policies for both internal and external regulatory purposes

  • Arranging and tracking training relevant to licensing and registration obligations

  • Provide support to Business Unit Manager in the oversight of Information Security awareness and training as the Business Information Security Officer (BISO), including implementation of policies and ensuring business adherence to these policies (e.g. secure work place)

  • Coordination of quarterly MCA testing for all global markets businesses; coordination also extends to product control and market risk for items such as warehouse reviews and conducting testing of controls

  • Coordination of update and assessment of RCM

  • Coordination and testing of continuity of business plans

  • Coordination of interaction with IA or regulatory audits; including preparation of deliverables for all global markets Asia Pacific audits in the country; coordinating responses for global markets Asia Pacific related reviews

  • Review of operational losses and verifying implementation of corrective action to address control gaps where applicable

Technology Support:

  • Coordination of front office system implementation projects for the business

  • Coordination of dealing room technology requirements and support

  • General

  • Assist Business Unit Manager for all areas of General Administration including Premises and Space Allocations; Procurement and Office Supplies (when required)

  • Routine review of Business office procedures and practices to ensure that Business operations are in line with best practices in region (e.g., ensuring product programs are adopted appropriately or renewed as per schedule)

  • Review the control procedures (in coordination with PCG, TROPS and MRM) for trading desk to ensure P&L and position are captured accurately for internal and external reporting purposes


  • 3-5 years’ working experience in banking/markets/compliance, audit, risk or internal controls related unit

  • Ability to manage compliance and control environments

  • Detailed comprehension of regulations, policies and business procedures

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Excellent organizational skills, demonstrate flexibility and able to multitask under tight deadlines
