AbbVie Regional Talent Development Manager - Western Europe & Canada in Virtual Office, United Kingdom
The Talent Development Manager will act as a performance consultant to Western Europe and Canada (WEC) stakeholders, a strategist supporting the customization and delivery of enterprise solutions, and a learning specialist who will manage and deliver development solutions to our WEC leaders.
The incumbent will lead and/or support select Talent Development solutions and work closely with Business HR partners as they manage and deliver Talent Development solutions locally.
You will represent the “voice of WEC” with the global Talent Development team and appropriately influence Talent Development strategies, action plans and solution design. You will work with the global Talent Development team and WEC HR/business partners to identify and deliver aligned solutions that boost business and people performance. You will occasionally deliver Talent Development presentations and workshops and will align with our AbbVie Performance and Talent Management process.
Key responsibilities: * Consult with internal clients to analyse business needs and identify gaps between the ideal and the actual performance required to meet objectives and determine development solutions * Leverage the enterprise Talent & Development agenda and operations guidelines; customize for the region * Continuously educate WEC HR leaders on Talent Development offerings through webinars, demonstrations, feedback sessions, etc. * Program manage the deployment and roll-out of Talent Development solutions across WEC and in partnership with global Talent Development team and HR business partners across WEC * Engage in the design of global program content and develop delivery plans for the region * Develop communication vehicles to support successful implementation of learning programs in the region * Manage third party support partners and training consultants who work directly with the business * Evaluate development solutions presented by WEC business leaders and make recommendations that are aligned to the Talent Development strategy and support the business * Collect internal feedback and external benchmarking to support continuous improving of solutions * Communicate clearly and regularly with key stakeholder to ensure a consistent flow of information * Seek to integrate solution deliveries into preferred WEC tools or platforms where possible * Build effective relationships with internal clients and focus to align efforts on most pressing needs for WEC. * Measure and report the impact of talent development interventions using evaluation, metrics, focus groups and performance results.
