The Citi Product Control Group (PCG) is an independent Finance group under Global Finance Function.

The PCG Manila was established in 2008 and has grown in size and functions in supporting 12 Asia countries including Hub Centers Hong Kong, Singapore, Tokyo and Sydney.

The group provides Capital Markets products Reconciliation, Profit/Loss and Regulatory reporting, analysis and controls. We support Foreign Exchange and Local Markets (FXLM) and Broker/Dealer Equities, Fixed Income and Derivatives for Country, Regional and

Global Product Controllers.

Our goal is to add value in support to Markets and Risk Treasury business, accounting, valuation and transaction flow.


  • Performs Product Position and Profit and loss reconciliation

  • Performs Product Position and Profit and loss reporting to Country, Regional and/or Global users

  • Excellent skills on investigation and analytical work

  • Performs Control check at Transaction level

  • Prepare Accounting entries related to Product that the group supports

  • Performs Balance Sheet and Price Verification

  • Focuses on Control for all Product Control deliverables

  • Involves in systems enhancement and/or implementation

  • Contributes process improvements in Product Control function

  • Performs supervisory role on the assigned processes

  • Leads a team (for AVP above)

  • Other duties as assigned




  • Strong knowledge of capital markets, particularly in Profit and loss reporting and reconciliation with product control experience

  • The product control experience is 2-6 years for Manager and below and minimum 7 years for AVP and above

  • Preferably with banking experience

  • Experience on foreign currency reconciliation , Treasury Operations, Trade Capture and Audit in Banking

  • Highly numerate, detail oriented, and good analytical skills required

  • Self-motivated, can work under pressure with minimum supervision, and able to manage multiple tasks and meet assigned deadlines

  • Results oriented

  • Good communication skills. Ability to communicate with Senior Management and strong interpersonal skill for AVP and above

  • Confident & assertive in character

  • Team player, interacts well, and creates synergy in team environment

  • Able to explore new systems and can adapt quickly to new processes and applications

  • Skilled in MS Excel, VBA and macro knowledge is an advantage; have good understanding of database querying tools

  • Willing to work overtime as needed

  • Process migration experience is an advantage

  • CFA is an advantage

  • CPA or public accounting experience preferred

  • Attendance at seminars/trainings on bonds, equity securities, derivatives, and other bank products an advantage
