Senior Business Leader, Product Development

Responsible for managing Masterpass digital wallet product for Asia Pacific region

Develop go to market strategies for commercializing MasterPass in priority markets by leveraging global partnerships.

Identify and develop regional partnerships to help accelerate the delivery of MasterPass

Directly manage a team of emerging/digital payments product and solution managers

Develop and execute digital payment product strategies to differentiate MasterCard offerings so as to directly influence brand decisions and customer loyalty

Identify and develop local partnerships to help accelerate the delivery of emerging payments product and solutions.

Build/manage/influence key relationships, from executives to cross functional/organizational work teams

Work with Asia Pacific Digital Payments in the prioritization of opportunities. Allocate Emerging Payments resources to those opportunities

Ensure quality deployment and implementations. Assume overall end-to-end management responsibilities for quality assurance

Effectively engage Consumer and Customer Marketing, Communications and other colleagues in AP to support the launch of new products, features and functionality.

Identify strategic business-building opportunities in products and services that can be offered, developed and implemented to customers

Build a culture of innovation and responsiveness that differentiate MasterCard from competition and keep team in high morale Experience and skills

All About You

Solid understanding of payment business and eco systems especially in Asia Pacific

Experience launching digital payment products and/or services to AP based consumers

Relevant and extensive experience in the payment and or ecom or mobile industry in product management and or business development with at least 5+ years of these total professional experience in ecommerce/mobile area

Demonstrable & visible experience taking consumer facing mobile products/solutions to more than one market is desired

Demonstrated experience working in a fast paced; dynamic work environment - Startup experience or working in new product development/innovation departments of a larger corporation is required

Strong operational/technical background within the payments and financial services industries

Experience working across cultures, experience working in more than one country is required to be successful in this job

Strong market development/customer engagement skills

Understanding of competitive offerings and industry trends

Ability to interpret macro-economic and demographic trends, with an ability to craft research and validation processes that support the selection of features and functions related to the solution that support Digital Payments payment growth opportunities

Strong project management and communication skills a must. Fluency in English oral and written communication.

A combination of engineering education and a business degree from reputed institutions.
