Job Description

Through analytical and qualitative work, develop the financial plan and scorecard targets for Citigold, Citi Priority and Investment products and as well implement governance routines such as portfolio reviews and dashboard reporting and draft communications to deliver on business strategies.

Responsibilities / Duties:

  • Develop business case(s) for investment opportunities (e.g., revenue forecast, expense outlay, business volumes) for Citigold, Citi Priority and Investment product

  • Identify and track risks and opportunity to the annual financial plan (P&L) for two client segments and one product

  • Research internal MIS systems and external sources to identify client trends and understand business drivers to predict expected outcomes through the use of reusable models

  • Compile and analyze large volume and range of data points; build connectivity across multiple sources and types of data

  • Set scorecard targets across variety of key business metrics

  • Own and iterate on the businesses’ momentum and KPI weekly dashboard

  • Ensure alignment between scorecard and financial targets with KPI metrics reporting

  • Develop governance mechanisms to track and report status against strategic business initiatives with integrity and disciplined

  • Draft and deploy relevant communications to varied audiences on business strategy, strategic agenda progress, and culture-building topics

  • Create compelling presentation materials to communicate business results, key learnings and strategies to senior level executives

  • Act as ‘project lead’ on cross-business initiatives; identify problem-to-be-solved, draft project plan, identify owners, organize appropriate governance forum, and track to closure/operationalization transfer to another business unit

  • Conduct competitive analysis and fine tune strategy based on market trends and internal factors.


Key Requirements:

  • Ability to partner well with peers and functional areas to (Finance, DM, Performance Reporting) to commission and perform data analytics

  • Partner with stakeholders to define scope, deliverables, and project plans and help resolve/escalate issues as needed to successfully deliver projects on time and with quality

  • MBA preferred, Bachelor’s degree required

  • The ideal candidate will have at a minimum 3-5 years of experience in designing and implementing complex analytic solutions, preferably with financial modeling experience

  • Prior experience in wealth management firms with strategy and business planning is a plus.
