Description Outbound Supervisor – Fulfillment Center Colony Brands, Inc. is one of the world’s largest and most successful direct marketing catalog and e-Commerce companies. To support our growing non-food/hardgoods divisions, we are seeking a firm, problem solving Outbound Supervisor to coordinate the successful outbound flow of product, especially in the clothing and accessories division. What You’ll Do As an Outbound Supervisor you’ll be supervising the daily outbound functions throughout our Madison Fulfillment Center which includes planning, incentive based pay function, coordination of staff, and more. You’ll also be responsible for:
Providing training to employees on proper procedures.
Supervise performance of Assistant Supervisors, Leads, and temporary employees.
Coordination of daily production goals and implementation.
Works with management to complete process analysis and improvement identification.
What It Takes We need a leader who has experience working in an operations related field who has the ability to solve day-to-day operational problems. In addition, we are looking for:
1 to 2 years of the same work experience.
Prior leadership &/or management experience.
The ability to work independently with limited supervision.
A Bachelor’s degree in Management, Supply Chain, or related field.
Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, Power Point, and the Internet.
The ability to effectively communicate in a team building environment.
