Within the Custom Development Organization the Global Cloud Service Center plays a crucial role to drive customer success and satisfaction The Cloud Service Center is a global organization dedicated to delivering solution extensions or new functionality based on SAP Cloud Studio or Hana Cloud Platform (HCP). The mission of SAP Cloud Service Center is to be agile, innovative and flexible in providing high quality, supportable solutions. We deliver a full lifecycle of custom development services – from the strategic planning of a development project through delivery and maintenance of the solution. With locations in Chengdu, St. Leon-Rot, Galway, Sao Leopoldo, Palo Alto and Newtown Square we are able to leverage a global delivery model that utilizes the specific strengths of each location.

For our EMEA Hub we’re looking for a motivated solution architect to work with our customers on Ariba custom development projects


  • Understand customer requirement and develop a feasible solution concept & design

  • Conduct onsite & remote customer workshops during engagement life cycle

  • Define specification document together with development

  • Act as a project lead until handover to customer

  • Run Cloud Studio Trainings for customer & partners


  • MBA or Master Degree in Business, Commercial Information Technology, Business Informatics, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering or a related field preferred

  • Expert in Ariba solutions

  • Several years of experience in HR functionalty

  • Experience in complex development & implementation projects

Required skills

  • Business process and eCommerce application knowledge.

  • Fluent English & German, written and oral

  • ABAP skills are plus.

  • Having good communication and presentation skill

  • Proactive work attitude and ability to drive project or task

  • Logical thinking

  • Capability to handle multiple tasks in parallel


  • At least 8 years of experience in development or implantation of Ariba / Network solutions

  • 5 years in international projects
