PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
The department Value Prototyping within SAP SE is a global and international operating team with offices in Walldorf and Palo Alto. Our mission is to promote and support sales and customers to bring innovation. This happens during the implementation of prototypes and proof of concepts in a flexible and agile environment within six to eight weeks. This involves using the latest SAP product portfolio, all relevant technologies as well as the latest technologies. Furthermore we own our own data center.
EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
As a Student you will be part of our team for a period of at least 3 months. You have the opportunity to get familiarized with and improve expertise in the following topics:
Product portfolio of SAP
Data base technologies
Mobile solutions, Web technologies
User Experience/ User Interface
You will support our team in the following tasks:
Conception and development of different prototypes
Execution of tests and message reporting
Evaluation and Verification of latest software tools and technology trends
Participation in different projects
After an intership/ working student task students also get the opportunity to write their thesis out of the above mentioned topics.
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
Student (f/m) of a university or a university of applied science
Preferred fields of study: Business Information Technology, Information Technology, Informatics or equivalent
Computer Skills: MS Office, Good knowledge in one or more of the following topics:
Java, C , C#, Objective C, Python
iOS, Windows Phone, Android
Languages: Good command of written and spoken English
Soft-Skills: Ability to work in a team, self-reliance, structured approach and analytical thinking as well as willingness to learn and presentation skills
Your set of application documents should contain a cover letter, a resume in table form, school leaving certificates, current university transcript of records, certificate of enrollment, copies of any academic degrees already earned, and if available, references from former employers (including internships). Please describe as well your experience and skills in foreign languages and computer programs/ programming languages.
