PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
We are looking for a junior developer who has an attitude for translating modern supply chain business requirements into highly scalable optimization solutions. The candidate will support SAP Supply Chain Management and Logistics development with a strong focus on design and architecture of high performing planning algorithms.
The planning procedures are characterized by high scalability concerning the volume to be planned (procedure efficiency), broad functionality and seamless integrations into the SCM applications. The solution will natively exploit SAP’s state-of-the-art capabilities in HANA and HANA Cloud Plattform.

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS/ SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
University degree (bachelor, diploma, master, PhD) in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics or comparable qualifications
Fluent in German and English (oral and written)
Knowledge in C or another object oriented programming language
Strong communications and networking skills
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
Ideally familiar with agile development methodology
Experience in Optimization and/or Operations Research know-how is an advantage
We are looking for upcoming or recent graduates and professionals with 0-2 years work experience alike.
