SAP and Microsoft collaborate very closely and bring together their innovation power to develop new ways how business processes are run in the future. As a joint team of two truly global companies with tens of thousands of joint customers we make sure that SAP customers will benefit from the latest technology available in the Microsoft SQL Server database, Windows Server operating system, Hyper-V virtualization, and Microsoft Azure public cloud.

Our Team is responsible from technology roadmap alignment, architecture, planning, and developing to documentation, user assistance and support of the fastest growing server platforms at SAP customers. We are integrating SAP products with the Microsoft server products and work with global customers for rollout and support.


We are looking for a technical writer to join our team in St.Leon-Rot/Walldorf. As an information developer, you will form a link between the software development teams and the documentation and user assistance.

  • Creating high-quality, written documentation to help our customers install, upgrade and manage their large enterprise systems as simple as possible

  • Help us identify the proper medium with which to deliver content so that it’s easiest understood

  • Standardize our content to ensure we avoid contradictory statements or processes

  • Always thinking, “How can I make this easy for our customers?” and adapting our processes or documentation to simplify and make complex topics easier to digest

You will work very closely with software developers, product owners, support engineers, and translators.


Required skills

  • University degree; preferably in Technical Writing or language-based

  • Language skills: fluency in German and English, oral and written

  • Experience with state of the art content management systems

  • Ability to work on different parallel activities and in multiple teams under tight deadlines

Preferred skills

  • Constructive and open style of communication as a team player

  • Ability to write in a clear and precise manner

  • Strong affinity to technology

  • Commitment and a strong sense of responsibility


  • Work experience as a technical writer is an advantage.

  • Upskilling young professionals is also possible. Graduates are welcome!
