PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
As part of the Business Innovation and IT unit, The IT Application Operations department is responsible for application operations for SAP products, services and technology consumed by our own SAP business. We are experiencing all of the leading edge innovations offered by SAP.
EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
A student would join an experienced and motivated team and collaborate with project managers, architects, developers and technology consultants implementing and operating SAP Solutions here at SAP.
A student would assist the IT Application Operations Core Processes team in continuous improvement of SAP Solutions (e.g. S4HANA and CEC together with HCP) and IT Service Quality with focus on stability, usability, maintainability and ultimately customer satisfaction.
Tasks might include:
Collaboration with internal customers and analysis of customer feedback
Collaboration with external service providers and analysis of operational KPI
Documenting/diagramming solution architectures and designs
Implementing and developing tools under guidance
Facilitating collaboration in an agile team
Creating communication packages
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
Student (f/m) at university or university of applied sciences
Preferred field(s) of study should be Applied Science, Information Technology or Engineering
Language skills: Good English language skills (verbal and written) necessary, proficiency in German an advantage
Soft skills: motivated, disciplined, proactive approach to work. Strong analytical skill. Strong interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills. Ability to work in an international, virtual team
Others: exposure to office applications (Microsoft or equivalent) is beneficial.
