Purpose and Objective:
SAP Industries, Inc. seeks a Business Processes Consultant at our Washington, D.C. location (& various client sites nationwide) to create feasibility studies and business cases to support process improvement projects.
Expectations and Tasks:
Responsible for the design and modelling of business processes, and establishing, implementing, and continuous monitoring of Process Performance Indicators (PPIs). Define detailed business blueprints for internal IT projects and establish and maintain process reference model. Responsible for training process owners within the Services organization. Support regional and global projects with process consulting services. When needed, serve as a team lead to support respective line manager(s) in people development tasks. 100% travel required.
Education and Qualifications/Skills and Competencies:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field of study and 5 years of experience required. Will accept a Master’s degree and 3 years of experience.
Experience must include: dealing directly with customers with project-based work; financial services applications that support common business processes (including contract management, trade processing, settlements, payments, accounting, GAAP accounting, etc.);
Financial industry domain experience related to products such as loans, deposits, fixed income securities, derivatives, bonds, etc.; Experience in at least one of the steps in the software implementation lifecycle (including development, implementation, testing, support). 100% travel required.
