Position Description:

CGI Federal is seeking a Salesforce Developer to join our staff in Washington, DC. This position is based on client site and does require a Public Trust security clearance. The Salesforce Developer will assist with the design, development, customization, and integration efforts of Customer Relationship Management solutions.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

In this role, you will customize, develop, maintain, enhance, and optimize Salesforce applications by working in close interaction with the Architect, Leads, business analysts and other members of the development team. This role requires a strong foundation in Salesforce coding and web development experience.

  • Responsible for developing and customizing Salesforce applications

  • Develop Workflow Automation using Salesforce automation tools, such as Process Builder, Workflows, Formulas, Flow, Assignment Rules, E-mail Alerts

  • Proactively identify areas of improvement and functional gaps in Salesforce Applications

  • Create and maintain technical documentation including process documentation, naming and commenting conventions and Salesforce policies/procedures

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

  • 4+ year of experience in Salesforce Development including Custom Objects, Apex, Triggers, Visualforce

  • Experience using Open APIs including SOAP and REST web services

  • 3+ years’ experience with web technologies (HTML 5, CSS 3, jQuery, JavaScript)

  • 2+ years’ experience with OO analysis and design experience

  • Salesforce Developer (Dev 401) Certification

  • Experience in working Agile/Scrum environment

  • Experience using tools like JIRA, Rally, DOORS, SVN


Bachelor's Degree or equivalent required
