Your tasks and responsibilities
The incumbent will:
• Oversee current Amazon revenues of $30MM and the development of that business to grow to $100MM during the current stratco process; • Develop new customers (e.g. Zappos) and new channels (Direct to Consumer ) as means to create pathways for disruptive growth for existing brands, and new products and innovation; • Develop and executes .com business plans and strategy to deliver sales & profit goals, including maximized volume potential and brand share; • Develop and maintain on-line channel portfolio while balancing customer item profitability metrics; • Raise the 'on-line IQ' across Bayer via business insights and analytics. Specifically, collects and reports on-line data across all brands to showcase available path-to-purchase metrics via customer portals; • Lead the Bayer ecommerce space as part of the total retailer omni-channel and is responsible for ensuring that brand and product imaging, content, messaging and information is accurate and aligned with core brand strategies; • Responsible for overall digital content nationally and within top customers; • Oversee trade spend to stay within budget and to maximize trade promotion effectiveness; • Create, establish, and/or manage customer-specific scorecards to monitor sales progress and identify and close sales gaps; • Lead ecommerce annual business planning process within assigned accounts. Leverages business analytics to influence customer and company decision making at appropriate levels to build omni-channel presence and results; • Lead the development of the sales omni-channel strategy via shopper- based insights that link in-store with online purchases; works with retailers to drive online presence and results; • Support Bayer’s Global Ecommerce focus, by sharing best practices and partnering with other global markets in the development of E-commerce capabilities; • Ensure ecommerce presence is on-target with US sales team strategy and adjust accordingly; • Take an active role in developing the Consumer health Ecommerce environment within the US market by participating in external boards, and share groups focused on Ecomm development; • Establish and build relationships across the E-Commerce industry- both at customers (e.g. Amazon, JET, Zappos) and with key influencers within the consumer healthcare marketplace; • Apply product, retail, and marketplace knowledge and trends to integrate Bayer ecommerce strategy and planning with customer ecommerce strategy to drive short and long-term sales growth and results; • Recruit, manage, and motivate the team to meet Bayer business objectives. Develop and train the team, providing coaching and feedback to build members’ strengths and address developmental areas; • Develop and maintain a high-performance culture within the team through clarification and monitoring of priorities, goals, and accountabilities.

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required for this position:
• Bachelor in Business Administration or Marketing; • Broad sales experience in the OTC drug or consumer packaged goods business of at least 10 years of experience, at least 5 years in management; • Prior experience in ecommerce space; • Knowledge of OTC categories, brand and product development; • Exceptional interpersonal and leadership skills; • Ability to balance external/internal focus.
