Your tasks and responsibilities
The primary responsibilities of this role, (VP Brand Launch Team) are to: • Leadership and activation of the Global Launch Team (GLT), including the development, approval and adoption of Global Launch Plan (GLP), including Brand Strategy and Implementation Road Map • Ensure execution of Commercial activities in the GLP to ensure platform is in place for Key countries and Regional Marketing Organizations (RMOs) to achieve launch readiness, and that launch execution delivers on key business goals • Ensure execution of Market Access activities with Global Market Access (GMACS) for launch readiness, covering Health Economics Outcomes Research (HEOR), Pricing and Advocacy • Ensure development and execution of a Global Medical Affairs (GMA) and Global Clinical Development (GCD) Strategy to support the brand strategy and life cycle management • Contributing to increased future value of Anetumab Ravtansine through Holistic Portfolio Review (HPR) process and StraCo • Brand financial management for Global Launch Plan, covering P&I, Customer Advisory and Departmental Budget • Internal Stakeholder Management concerning the development of investment business cases and resourcing of the brand launch and ongoing support to drive continued growth • Work in tandem with Global Project Leader (GPL) to drive delivery of Clinical Program milestones • Ensure Compliance

More specifically related to this position, Bayer seeks an incumbent who possesses the following: • BS with 12+ years directly applicable experience minimum o Preferred: MBA or PhD in the Life Sciences; an undergraduate degree in Business, Marketing or related field with directly applicable experience • Strong business and marketing leadership experience with a proven track record of at least 3-5 years successful product introduction, life cycle management, and growth strategies with increasing degrees of responsibility in an international/global environment (preferred) • Proven track record of successful oncology brand launches is required • The incumbent must have demonstrated: o Competencies in cross-cultural resourcefulness and agility o Leadership skills to successfully build, develop and manage/motivate staff (direct and indirect) o Ability to articulate and promote the role of strategic marketing excellence o Ability and proven track record for critical strategic thinking combined with strong business acumen o Ability for complex problem solving o Excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills. o Solid skill set in project management, customer orientation and financial capability
