Bayer Analyst, Contracts and Sales Support in Whippany, New Jersey
Your tasks and responsibilities
The primary responsibilities of this role are to:
• Lead and manage contract analysts (1-3) supporting customer contracting efforts. • Provide operational execution for all WHC Portfolio Contracts, from Request Forms for WHC FF, KAMs & CGC IDN Teams Nationally. • Identify process issues and manage with contract strategy and generation. • Identify and help develop specific WHC contracting tactics and training. • Contract Request Forms (CRF’s) to be processed within 2 days of receipt in Veeva Vault. • Identify CRF’s that meet weekly Workshop criteria. • Deliver results by collaborating with peers and all applicable Bayer Teams. • Effective Partnering with all responsible parties identified in the contracting process. • Set up and coordinate weekly Workshop meetings for new contract proposals, and contract compliance reviews. •Ensure all appropriate business partners are aligned and invited to Workshop meetings. • Develop consistent, proactive Customer focused attention on contract needs and opportunities. • Identify and manage process for completing contract renewals. • In conjunction with Deputy Director WHC Contracting, identify opportunities for addressing new customer contracting needs. • Understand the strategic goals of the business unit in relation to Contracting Strategy. • Effectively contribute to the success of the organization and service to its internal and external customers by contributing to a positive work environment for all. • Operate strictly within the corporate code of conduct and compliance guidelines set forth by Bayer Healthcare Pharmaceuticals Inc. • In conjunction with Deputy Director WHC Contracting, monitor contracting process, identify and pro-actively addressing any gaps. • Facilitate effective communications for all business partners in WHC contracting process. • Analyze complex data and make it understandable to upper management. • Maintain all third party contracts and manage the procurement process. • Perform ad-hoc contract analyses at the request of senior management and WHC Operations Team. • Assist Deputy Director WHC Contracting in developing and implementing field training/field communication or written SOP’s on contract processes and guidelines. • Assist Deputy Director WHC Contracting in assessing new contracting strategies or tactics.

• Bachelor Degree required. MBA preferred. • Previous Contracting experience, with a min of 3 years and 5-7 preferred. • Strong knowledge of Healthcare Management and Compliance. • Strong Project Management Skills. • Excellent presentation and communication skill. • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with upper management. • Must possess good analytical, product promotion, and customer relations skills. • Strong PC skills: Excel, Word, PowerPoint • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
