Dell EMC’s Information Intelligence Group Solution Principals provide advanced technical and/or business consultative services during the pre-sales cycle. They provide technical or business analytical leadership for specific product groups or business objectives in order to engage the customer or implement and maintain an engagement.
Assist the sales force with new and existing customers to discuss their needs, and to explain how these needs could be met by specific products and services.
Emphasize product features based on analyses of customers' needs and on technical knowledge of product capabilities and limitations.
Select the correct products or assist customers in making product selections, based on customers' needs, product specifications, and applicable regulations.
Develop and deliver presentations to prospective customers including product demonstrations.
Develop the statement of work for prospective clients.
Collaborate with colleagues to exchange information, such as selling strategies or marketing information.
Key Responsibilities & Duties:
Develops strategies, policies and best practices for the customer. Develops and cultivates strong customer relationships ensuring a “Customers for Life” relationship. May be responsible for achieving the Dell EMC Bar of Excellence as the highest level of Customer Satisfaction for every customer. Dell EMC Proven Professional Certification desired.
Extensive working experience deploying Life Science-based solutions (10+ years)
Regulated Content Management experience ideal, experience with Documentum preferred
Prior consulting / customer facing experience, preferably with some pre-sales experience
Understanding of validate system deployment
Project management skills
Strong technical aptitude
Strong communication skills
Preference for candidates living in the Northeast. Work from home position with travel to clients and Princeton, NJ office.
Ability to travel up to 20% of the time
